Remember that Summer Layout for ***CraftAddiction*** + Playing at *More Than Words*, *Cuts2luv* & *Mixed Media & Art*!

PRESS ==> "HERE" <== FOR MY TWO GIVE AWAY'S!

Hello and goodmorning lovelies,
Today I have another layout to share with you all and this time it's my last work for my design team spot at "CraftAddiction"! Thank you Nicole for having me on this wonderful team. I am stepping down from this team because I am on a couple of other wonderful design teams too, and it's getting to much to handle for me since I also work five day's a week. For this layout I used a bunch of mixed media products that you can find in the CraftAddiction online store. This layout was made with the pretty "Seaside Cottage" collection by the "Blue Fern Studios. I used several of the new flowers collections by 49 and Market. The chipboard pieces are by Wycinanka & Dusty Attic and I treated them with gesso, paste, different waxen, spray's and arylic paints.

Remember that Summer:
The background sheet has such a gorgeous watercolor pattern that I totally fell in love with it when I saw it, that I had to have it to make another beach layout. First I pimed the background with clear gesso, then I added some golden crackle paste {oh men I love that stuff}. I placed the crackle paste on different spot's on my layout to make it look like sea foam.

After adding the paste I used some stamps on my background and later one a stencil by TCW designed by Gabrielle Pollacco. Then I made a little scenery to look like my husband is taking pictures of our son. Then I worked on my chipboard pieces that took me a little longer then normal because of me adding more spray's, waxes and acrylic paints until I thought it fitted my layout and the colors on the background.

On the ships wheel I added some screw brads to make it pop a little because I placed it underneath my picture. Then I added some different sizes of the 3D balls they give your work such a nice demension at the end I added my flowers & shells and some Lindy's spray!

All Smiles DT Layout for ***Maja Design*** + Give Away of the COOL NEW "Denim & Friends" collection!!!

Goodmorning to you lovely followers,
Oh boy when Monday the new collection came to my doorstep, I so badly wanted to dig in and create but I had to wait until Wednesday {last week} to do so due to work. Sometimes I wish that I could create all day and that it is my job to do so….a girl can dream right? Denim & Friends is such a wonderful collection and it has some new designs and more of a masculine rusty feel to it that I am in l.o.v.e. For this layout I used another picture of Camilla her daugthers Tyra & Freja {cuties} I totally love how they smile on this picture and the cloths they are wearing totally fits this collection. That is why the title of my layout is “All Smiles”. I attempted to use all elements that would fit with jeans like buttons, a belt and by tearing and fading the papers.
And now for the fun part this month I am the lucky one to be giving away a second paperpack of this oh so cool and amazing collection. There is also a giveaway on the blog so you have two chances to win this month {"Maja Design Blog Give Away"} <== please press this link to enter.....wonderful right??

I already created with this collection and I surely am a hugh fan of it.......
All Smiles:
Don’t you just love the woodgrain paper <3 it’s so gorgeous. Last Monday when I was happy that my DT box came in, another thing happened “my phone” died on me and as I always take pictures of my DT work with my phone you could have imagine how upset I was when that happened. Now I have to take pictures with my old phone and it is not doing my work any justice hopefully I will have my phone back in about 20 day’s {so very long grrr}

The chipboard I used are by The Dusty Attic and I also added some new flower ranges by 49 and Market as well as their beautiful stamps designed by Gabrielle Pollacco {YOU ROCK GIRL} I also added some of her new stencils to the background sheet to give my layout more demension.

The leaves you see are firstly stamped on the monochromes papers then cut out and inked so I could place them in the flower clusters. First I gessod the chipboard pieces and then treated them with acrylic paint and added a layer of glossy accents to make it shine a little that is what I also did with the phrase on the picture.

Maja Design papers used: Denim & Friends: Gentlemen, Wood & Paisly, Monochromes – Shades of Denim: Beige.

Other products used:
Dusty Attic Chipboard

You are my Sunshine Card for ***Cheery Lynn Designs***

Good morning lovely bloggers.
For today I have another card to share. This time I wanted to highlight the pretty "Sunflower" dies Cheery Lynn Designs offers. On my card I used four flowers and two of my favorite border dies. The papers I used are the "Nyhavn" collection by Maja Design and I used a couple of Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays to make the flowers pop off the card. Then I added some glass glitter in the centers of my flowers and a stencil by TCW designed by Gabrielle Pollacco.

You are my Sunshine:

First I cut out the background wood grain paper in 4,7 inches by 6,7 inches then I cut that paper piece in half with a wave from up to down. The upper part I placed on my card directly the lower part I added some foam tape times three so it would look a bit higher then the other part.

Then I added both border dies behind the lower piece so it would look like a little lace addition to my card. In the center of my sunflower on the bottom of my card I added a flair from "Cuts2luv".  Such a great addition to your work "I think"....

Cheery Lynn Designs dies used:
DL121 - Sunflower

Other products used:
Lindy's Stamp Gang Spray's
Maja Design papers
TCW stencils
Cuts2luv flair
Glass Glitter
Art Sugar
Paste and cheese cloth

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today!
I hope you enjoyed my post and I have inspired you to use your Cheery Lynn Designs dies.
Have a wonderful and sunny week!
